Meet the mastermind behind our delicious marinades, Sunny Kwak. Immigrating to Hawaii from South Korea in the 1980s, Sunny overcame language barriers and started her journey as a dishwasher in local restaurants. Over time, her unwavering determination and passion for cooking propelled her to new heights. With each flavorful creation, Sunny's legend continued to grow and expand.
What sets Sunny apart is her ability to transform traditional Korean cuisine into extraordinary masterpieces by skillfully leveraging premium and local ingredients of Hawaii. Her marinades, in particular, have become the stuff of legend, blending time-honored techniques of Korean heritage with innovative local twists of her own.
